For whatever reason, I have this incredible ability to not be able to stay in one place for very long. This Thursday, the interns and I are driving to Matamoros, Mexico. As part of their internship, we want to give them as much experience as possible and part of that can be achieved by giving them a cross cultural ministry experience. For the next week we will be shadowing the team that is already in Mexico. We will get to see first hand the relationships that these students have built over the three months that they have been in Mexico. We will also have an opportunity to minister at a prison, children’s shelter, and a hospital. Then on our drive back; we will be spending two nights in New Orleans so that we can see what the Lord is doing there. We hope to travel around the city and see the relief work that has been going on as well as meeting people and finding out their stories.
Here is our travel itinerary so that you can lift us up in prayer.
